2M Alliance, comprising the leading shipping lines Maersk and MSC, has announced the adjustment of the voyage numbers οn its Asia to the US and Canada network, which will be effective from March.
The alliance explained that the update on its sailing programme aims to match the actual departure dates from Asia and therefore to provide better schedule reliability.
The Swiss carrier MSC also stated that this service rescheduling happens due to the current challenging market situation, “impacting port activities and generating congestion across the supply chain.”
As such, the revised sailing programme on Asia to US and Canada network will be as follows:
