AAL Shipping launches new Europe-Asia express liner service

To address the increasing demand for reliable heavy-lift cargo solutions from Europe, AAL Shipping has introduced a new monthly fast-track service called the ‘Europe – Asia Express Liner Service’.

This addition complements their existing offerings, which include the popular ‘Europe – Middle East/India – Asia (EUMEIA) Monthly Liner Service’ and the ‘Mediterranean – Middle East – India Pendulum Service’.

“We have listened to the market and increased our already popular, premium multipurpose services to support a plethora of customer needs with more tonnage and more connections. Our portfolio of three distinct monthly services provides customers with regular, trusted and flexible sailings between Europe and its key trading markets around the world and benefits from the employment of premium MPVs from every class of AAL’s fleet – including our new Super B-Class, which has already demonstrated its cargo intake credentials by transporting 89,000 freight tons of mixed cargo from Asia to Europe on a single sailing,” explained Eike Muentz, General Manager of AAL Europe.

All three services leverage AAL’s global fleet of multipurpose heavy lift vessels, ranging from 19,000 DWT to 33,000 DWT.

The new ‘Europe – Asia Express Liner Service’ will feature Super B-Class vessels, which boast a lifting capacity of up to 700 tonnes and a weather deck space exceeding 5,000 square meters.

This enables AAL to handle a wide range of cargo, from oversized heavy lift units to smaller breakbulk, general cargo, and even bulk materials, ensuring flexibility and capacity for any shipment on any sailing.

“Europe – Asia Express Liner Service will depart key project cargo hubs in Western Europe and connect them directly with Taichung, Shanghai, Masan and other port calls considered on inducement along the route,” added Jan-Henrik Heyken, Senior Chartering Manager at AAL Europe.
