AD Ports Group has announced its results for the previous year, reporting strong operating and financial performance.
First of all, the container throughput of the UAE-based operator grew to 4.33 million TEUs in the last year, representing an increase of 28% year-on-year, as the utilisation of the two existing container terminals continued to improve.
Additionally, the total net profit of the company reached around US$350 million in 2022, which is a significant increase of 53% compared with the 2021 figure. Moreover, AD Ports Group’s revenue rose 41% year-on-year to approximately US$1.5 billion, which translates to an increase of 23% year-on-year.
Furthermore, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) of the group increased to around US$600 million in 2022, up 37% year-on-year.
