Alba Wheels Up International appoints new CEO

Alba Wheels Up International, a customs brokerage and international logistics service provider, has announced the appointment of Luis Eraña as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Eraña succeeds Damien Stile, who will now serve as Co-Chairman of Alba Wheels Up International.

“I’m very excited to be joining Alba as the organization really intensifies the velocity of its growth engine for customer-oriented logistics solutions, regulatory compliance, and trade-sensitive product expertise,” stated Eraña.

With over 30 years of corporate leadership experience, Eraña most recently served as CEO of ProTrans, a company specializing in third-party logistics for manufacturing supply chains in North America.

Before his tenure at ProTrans, Eraña was CEO of DHL Supply Chain’s Technology and Aerospace sector and held various leadership positions with DHL Express Mexico.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City, an Executive Management Program certificate from Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE), and is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Eraña also serves on the board of directors for Rehrig Pacific Co.

“We are very excited to welcome Luis to Alba. He brings extensive executive leadership and industry expertise that will enable further growth at Alba. I’m eager to get him onboard and engaged with our internal teams and external partners,” stated Damien Stile, Co-Chairman of Alba.
