APL launches new West Asia service

APL, part of the CMA CGM Group, has introduced the new West Asia Express 6 service (WA6). The new weekly WA6 is set to facilitate trade between Asian and Middle Eastern economies.

APL says the new service will offer direct connectivity from Xiamen to the Middle East and will facilitate import to and export from Kaohsiung. Shippers with Hamad and Sohar bound cargoes will soon be able to leverage WA6 as an alternative freight option, according to the company.

The service will commence sailing from Ningbo on 11 April.

The port rotation of West Asia Express 6 service (WA6):
Ningbo – Kaohsiung – Xiamen – Shekou – Singapore – Jebel Ali – Dammam – Hamad – Sohar – Singapore – Ningbo.
