APL, LIFT experience begins

APL’s announcement:

We previously informed you about Project LIFT, an APL-wide project to leverage the best of IT systems and resources to better serve our customers’ business needs.

We are pleased to inform that from 27 August 2018 onwards, your LIFT experience will begin with the effective sailings below, and will continue for all subsequent voyages on these 11 selected services:

From 27 August onwards, when you transact with us on any of the above services – from the effective vessel voyage onwards – please be alerted that you will undergo the following as part of your LIFT experience:

*If you have placed booking for any of the services on the effective vessel voyage or a subsequent voyage, and received a BC in its existing template before 27 August: On or after 27 August, you will receive a second BC in the new template for the same booking.

Please note: The above LIFT experience is only for the 11 selected services from 27 August 2018, beginning with their effective voyage. For all other services:

  • Your end-to-end process remains per your current experience
  • All interfaces, including document templates, remain per current ones

Your complete transition to LIFT will take place later this year. We will provide more information in due course.
