APL’s announcement:

With the launch of Japan Russia Express (JRX), industry’s first and only weekly service that directly connects Japan and Russia, APL’s Russia Far East network is enhanced to provide you with a one-stop solution to transport your shipment – all the way from inland origins to destinations, in the most efficient way.

Shipments from Vostonchny and Vladivostok will arrive Yokohama as soon as three and five days respectively. Cargo on the northbound from Kobe to the same Russian ports will be delivered in five and seven days respectively.

In addition, APL’s Russia Far East network also includes direct railway connections to Moscow, Urals and West Siberia from Vostonchny and Vladivostok and this solution would bring your goods closer to your warehouse, factory or store without having to organize the inland transportation yourself.
