Arkas Line doubles vessel capacity on Turkey-US service

Arkas Line has decided to add a second container vessel to its USA Express Service (USX), which offers a connection between Turkey and the East Coast of the United States.

Now, two Arkas vessels are operating on the line: the 2,824 TEU Sine A and the newly added Emma A, also with a capacity of 2,824 TEU, which has been upgraded with a scrubber to make it more environmentally friendly.

With this development, Arkas Line has effectively doubled its capacity on the USX service, which has the following port rotation:

Mersin (Turkey) – Istanbul/Kumport (Turkey) – Izmit/Evyap (Turkey) – Gemlik/Gemport (Turkey) – Izmir/Aliaga (Turkey) – New York (USA) – Norfolk (USA) – Savannah (USA) – Mersin (Turkey)
