A recent study by Container News delved into the repercussions of Myanmar’s turmoil on maritime operations across the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The analysis, which examined the correlation between Myanmar’s State Fragility and key economic indicators, revealed that geopolitical instability has indeed taken a toll on maritime activities, particularly in areas heavily reliant on robust port operations and seamless connectivity for their economic health.
