Beira port replaces berths’ fenders at the container terminal

The Beira Port Authority has informed all shipping lines calling at the port of Beira in Mozambique that from 7 April all berths’ fenders at the container terminal will be replaced.

Therefore quay number 4-5 will not be operational for over 90 days, according to the Beira Port Authority.

MSC said in a customer advisory that “As of now, only one quay (number 2-3) will be available for berthing container vessels.”
