Bunker index remains stable in key regions

Apologies to readers looking for the MABUX bunker index yesterday, we had technical issues that have now been resolved and so we are publishing the index for 7 February on the 8 February.

Bunker price movement is sliding slowly downwards in the key regions of Asia, North America and Northern Europe, with the only key changes in the comparatively niche market in Central America.

Otherwise the price of crude oil remains relatively stable at a little over US$50/barrel for WTI and US$54 for Brent Crude, both down around 1%. Bunker prices have also seen minor changes, globally the price of 380 HFO increased US$2/tonne and VLSFO declined US$1/tonne.
