cargo-partner boosts hazardous materials management in Dutch warehouse

Following a recent quality accreditation, cargo-partner has once again enhanced the capabilities of its advanced warehouse in Roermond, the Netherlands, emphasizing its specialized services in the management and storage of hazardous materials.

Spanning 7,000 m² of storage space, with a dedicated 3,000 m² area specifically for hazardous goods, the Roermond warehouse is tailored to meet the diverse needs of various industries.

Strategically positioned on the border with Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany, it boasts excellent transport links, serving as a crucial consolidation hub for regional logistics operations.

Additionally, noteworthy features of the Roermond warehouse include a dedicated cross-docking area, continuous video surveillance, a CO₂ gas extinguishing system, and cutting-edge fire safety equipment.

According to a statement, these measures guarantee optimal safety and security for all stored goods, offering assurance to cargo-partner’s clientele.

A standout feature of the Roermond facility is its specialized expertise in the handling and storage of hazardous goods. The warehouse is equipped to accommodate hazardous materials in IBC containers, drums, and pallets, tailored specifically for goods falling under classes 2, 3, 4.1, 6.1, 8, and 9 (excluding fluids and high-power lithium batteries).
