CentrePort appoints new Board member

Chairman Lachie Johnstone announced the appointment of Andrew Barlass to the Board of CentrePort Wellington.

Johnstone believes Barlass will enhance the board’s capabilities with his extensive experience in corporate finance and infrastructure funds management.

“Andrew joins us with positive governance experience both in New Zealand and abroad. He is currently Chair of EA Networks, a Director of Christchurch International Airport and Ashburton Contracting, and a member-elect of the Fonterra Milk Price Panel,” stated Chairman Lachie Johnstone.

Barlass’ previous governance roles in Australia and the United Kingdom have encompassed various infrastructure sectors, including ports, airports, and regulated utilities. Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, Barlass officially joined the Board on 16 October.
