ClassNK approves new vessel monitoring solution

ClassNK has granted its Innovation Endorsement for Products & Solutions to “Cassandra”, a vessel and voyage performance monitoring platform developed by Deep Sea Technologies SMPC.

Furthermore, “Cassandra” integrates vessel performance data with AI technology, allowing real-time monitoring of a ship’s status from shore. It operates on a cloud-based platform, enabling monitoring of fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, hull and engine performance.

ClassNK has verified “Cassandra’s” functions including CO2 emissions monitoring, hull monitoring, main engine and machinery performance, auxiliary equipment monitoring, automated reporting for specific vessels for full legs or daily granularity and group reports for fleets, real-time alerts for anomalies, event log display, and customizable dashboard widgets.

Additionally, ClassNK confirmed that ships under its registry equipped with “Cassandra” can receive the “DSS” notations (class notations for ships with advanced digital technology), issuing a certificate to Deep Sea Technologies SMPC.

ClassNK aims to further promote its Innovation Endorsement for Ships, Products & Solutions, supporting innovative technologies and initiatives.
