CMA CGM announces fresh America rates

French box line CMA CGM has notified its customers that, effective 1 December, a Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) will be implemented as follows:

The RRI will apply to shipments from the West Coast of South America to the US East Coast and US Gulf, covering all types of cargo. The rate adjustment will be set at US$250 per container.

CMA CGM also informed its customers that, effective 1 December 2024, an RRI will apply to shipments from the South America West Coast & Central America East Coast to St. John, Canada, for all types of cargo. The rate adjustment will be set at US$100 per container.
