CMA CGM pushes up North European export rates

CMA CGM has announced that freight of all kinds (FAK) rates out of North European ports will increase as from 1 April 2020 (date of loading in the origin ports) until further notice:

FAK

  • Origin Range: From North European base ports (direct on CMA CGM services)
  • Destination Range: To Gulf and Red Sea ports mentioned above (direct on CMA CGM services)

CMA CGM has also applied a new peak season surcharge from 17 March 2020 (date of loading in the origin ports) until further notice. The rates are as follows:

  • Origin Range: From all North Europe ports (including the United Kingdom & Scandinavia)
  • Destination Range: To South East India & Sri Lanka ports and inland points via said ports
  • Cargo: Dry
  • Amounts: US$200 per 20′ Dry | US$200 per 40′ Dry
