CMA CGM announces PSS for West Africa, Med & Black Sea

In its ongoing commitment to providing reliable and efficient services, CMA CGM has announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) effective 1 from April 2025, until further notice.

This surcharge will apply to dry cargo shipped from the Far East to the West Africa North Range, covering destinations such as Liberia, Senegal, Mauritania, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, and São Tomé and Príncipe. The surcharge amount is set at US$400 per TEU.

CMA CGM has also announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS). Effective from 1 April, until further notice, this surcharge will apply to dry cargo shipped from the Far East to the West Africa Central Range, including Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Ghana, Togo, and Equatorial Guinea, as well as the West Africa South Range, covering Angola, Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia, Gabon, and Cameroon. The surcharge amount is set at US$250 per TEU.

Furthermore, CMA CGM announced another PSS effective from 1 April 2025 (based on the loading date) until further notice, this surcharge will apply to dry cargo (including special equipment), reefer, and hazardous shipments from Portugal to destinations across the West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Adriatic, North Africa, and the Black Sea. The surcharge amount is set at US$163 per container.
