CMA CGM cancels PSS from East Africa to Asia

CMA CGM has decided to cancel its peak season surcharges (PSS) from East Africa to North East Asia, South East Asia, China, Hong Kong and Macau SAR and India’s East Coast.

The French company will stop this Africa-Asia PSS of US$200/unit from 12 April 2020. CMA CGM has applied the surcharge since 1 March 2020.

CMA CGM has also announced that it will cancel the Peak Season Surcharge of US$150 per 20′ and US$300 per 40′ from North Europe to Kenya and Tanzania on 1 May 2020. The surcharge has also been applied since 1 April 2020.
