CMA CGM commences new service focused on West Coast of Central America

French ocean carrier CMA CGM has announced the launch of its new weekly service, Maya Service, dedicated to West Coast Central America.

The weekly port rotation of the new CMA CGM’s service will be Lazaro Cardenas (Mexico) – Puerto Caldera (Costa Rica) – Corinto (Nicaragua) – Acajutla (El Salvador) – Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala) – Lazaro Cardenas

The Marseille-based container line will deploy two vessels, CMA CGM Surabaya and Magdalena Schulte, on the direct weekly service. The first sailing will commence on 2 January.

CMA CGM noted that from 10 April 2025, the service will operate from Colombia’s port of Buenaventura.
