CMA CGM implements new port congestion surcharge in Cameroon

In response to the ongoing port congestion in Douala, Cameroon, CMA CGM has notified its customers about the introduction of a Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS).

For all dry containers destined for Douala, Cameroon, CMA CGM will apply a surcharge of US$250, GB£200, or €230 per TEU.

This surcharge will take effect on 15 January, except in the United States, its territories and Canada, where the surcharge will be effective from 10 February. The effective date in Latin American countries remains subject to notice.
