CMA CGM will apply a port congestion surcharge (PCS) of US$600 per reefer container that is sailing to the port of Douala in Cameroon.
This surcharge is applied only to reefer cargo and has already been implemented since 27 July for the majority of potential origins of cargo. However, for containers sailing to Douala from the United States, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Brazil, Uruguay, Panama, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela, the reefer PCS will be effective from 28 August.
