CMA CGM increases Far East – Mediterranean rates

French shipping company CMA CGM has announced new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates that will be effective from 1 March 2025 until further notice.

These rates will apply to shipments originating from all main ports in the West Mediterranean, Black Sea, Adriatic, and East Mediterranean regions. The destination range will include all ports in Asia and the Far East, with additional surcharges applicable to outports.

The applicable cargo will include dry and paying empty containers.

Furthermore, CMA CGM announced updated FAK rates that will take effect from 1 March 2025, and remain in place until further notice for shipments originating from all main ports in Asia and destined for all ports in the Mediterranean and North Africa.

The applicable cargo will include dry, Out of Gauge (OOG), and paying empty boxes.
