French shipping line CMA CGM has announced updated local port charges in Indonesia, which are set to take effect from 15 March 2024 (date of loading in the origin ports) until further notice and until 10 April 2024 for shipments to the United States.

The Marseille-based carrier told Container News that the adjusted dues will be implemented only at the ports of Jakarta and Belawan in Indonesia.

The charges will apply to both imports and exports for all types of cargo.

The amount of the updated charge will be US$15 for 20-foot containers, US$20 for 40-foot containers, and US$25 for 45-foot containers.
