CMA CGM launches new Indian Ocean feeder in Comoros

The French shipping company, CMA CGM will launch a new Indian Ocean feeder service to and from Comoros, an independent state comprising three of the Comoro Islands in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of East Africa.

CMA CGM believes that the new dedicated product on Comoros will enable them to ensure smooth routing of containers in the country via its terminal at the port of Longoni.

The Comoros feeder service will run with one ship on a fortnightly basis and will commence on 30 July from the Port of Longoni, expected to arrive at Moroni on 2 August and at Mutsamudu on 9 August.

Meanwhile, CMA CGM’s current IOFEED 1 service will continue serving Reunion, Mauritius, Longoni and North of Madagascar.
