CMA CGM launches new Singapore-China-Sri Lanka service

CMA CGM has announced the launch of the India East Coast Express (IEX 2) service, which will connect Asia to Southeast India and Sri Lanka.

The service will commence with the vessel Hansa Homburg, departing from the port of Singapore on 27 June 2024.

The IEX 2 will offer a dedicated fortnightly service, providing a direct shuttle from Singapore to Chennai, China and Colombo, Sri Lanka. The port rotation will be Singapore – Chennai – Colombo – Singapore.

Additionally, the service will facilitate the export of goods from Chennai via Colombo through CMA CGM’s extensive network.
