CMA CGM restarts reefer shipments to all Nigeria ports

CMA CGM has announced the resumption of its reefer shipments in Nigerian ports with immediate effect.

Particularly, the French ocean carrier said in its statement that it “can now accept reefer bookings to all Nigeria ports.”

CMA CGM has published the following “status” of reefer acceptance to Nigerian ports:

  • Apapa: all reefer bookings accepted
  • Tincan: all reefers bookings accepted
  • Onne: all reefer bookings accepted, subject to space availability

The French carrier halted all reefer shipments to the ports of Apapa, Tin Can and Onne in Nigeria in June 2021 due to the port congestion in the country.
