CMA CGM revises Med-US rates

CMA CGM has announced that effective from 1 September 2024, a rate restoration initiative will be introduced to tariff or service contract rates for all cargo under the following scope.

This initiative will apply to shipments from/via La Spezia (Italy), Adriatic, Black Sea, Cyprus, Greece, Türkiye, Lebanon, North Africa and Morocco to the US East Coast, US Gulf and all inland destinations reached via these ports.

The rates will be US$250 per 20′ container (dry & reefer) and US$500 per 40’/40’HC/45′ container (dry & reefer).

CMA CGM noted that special equipment is excluded from this initiative.
