CMA CGM revises peak season surcharge from Europe to US East Coast

French ocean carrier CMA CGM has decided to revise its peak season surcharge from Europe to the United States East Coast.

In particular, from 22 November 2022 (US gate in date) until further notice, CMA CGM will apply a PSS of US$1,375 per 20 standard container / US$1,550 per 40′ standard and high cube box for dry, out of gauge (OOG), breakbulk and reefer cargo.

CMA CGM’s new surcharge will be implemented for sailings from the ports in France Mediterranean, Italy, Spain Mediterranean and Portugal to New York, Savannah, Norfolk, Charleston, Miami and inland points via said ports.
