CMA CGM revises port congestion surcharges in Turkish port

As operational challenges continue at the port of Mersin, CMA CGM has decided to revise port congestion surcharges (PCS) at the Turkish port.

French ocean carrier will revise the port congestion surcharge from Mersin to South America East & West Coasts, Central America East Coast & Caribbean, Central America West Coast & Mexico West Coast, Windward, Guyanas North Brazil.

The updated surcharge for these destinations will be US$250 per dry container and will be effective from 15 July, except for shipments to Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela, where the surcharge will take effect on 15 August.

Furthermore, CMA CGM has announced the revision of the port congestion surcharge from North East Asia, South East Asia, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan Area to Mersin.

The new surcharge will be US$200 per dry and reefer box and has already been applicable since 5 July.
