CMA CGM service adds MLT-Helsinki to its rotation

Multi-Link Terminals Helsinki (MLT-Helsinki), a joint venture between Global Ports Group and CMA Terminals, has started working with CMA CGM with a new call at MLT-Helsinki on a regular service for container transportation between the capital of Finland and Northern European ports.

The two Unifeeder vessels that first established the new route, Unifeeder Dagmar and Unifeeder Elbsailor, called Port of Helsinki on 6 and 13 October, respectively.

The service is designed for importing consumer goods and exporting forest industry products, paper, pulp, and sawn timber, among other products produced in Finland, according to a statement.

The service will run in addition to the regular line of CMA CGM’s subsidiary Containerships already passing through MLT-Helsinki, connecting Finland with major ports in Northern Europe.
