CMA CGM stops reefer shipments to Nigeria ports

The ongoing congestion in Nigeria ports has forced the French shipping group, CMA CGM, to suspend a number of shipments to several ports in the country.

The Marseille-based line has announced that all reefer shipments with positive temperature to the ports of Apapa, Tin Can and Onne, Nigeria are suspended until further notice.

CMA CGM made this decision due to the “extremely irregular” transit times to these destinations, caused by the ongoing congestion.
