CMA CGM to apply scanning fee in Congo

CMA CGM has announced that it will implement a scanning fee at the Pointe Noire Port in Congo and the final destinations on the Congolese territory.

The French ocean carrier said that for cargo bound for Congo, in accordance with Decree 7666 of April 2021, it will collect a scanning fee of €160/TEU and €210/FEU & high cube container.

CMA CGM will start collecting the aforementioned fee on 10 June (bill of lading date).
