CMA CGM unveils new Asia rates

CMA CGM has announced new applicable freight of all kinds (FAK) rates to be applied from 1 May 2020 (date of loading in the origin ports) and until further notice but not beyond 14 May 2020.

FAK

  • Origin Range: All Asian base ports
  • Destination Range: All North African base ports (areas mentioned above)
  • All outports in Asia and North Africa will be subject to additional surcharges

FAK

  • Origin Range: All Asian base ports
  • Destination Range: All Mediterranean base ports (areas mentioned above)
  • All outports in Asia and the Mediterranean will be subject to additional surcharges

FAK

  • Origin Range: All Asian ports (including Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh)
  • Destination Range: All Northern European ports (including UK and the full range from Portugal to Finland/Estonia)
  • Cargo: Dry cargo, OOG, Paying empties and Reefer cargo

In addition, the French carrier has announced a new general rate restoration (GRR) from China, South Korea, Taiwan, South East Asia and East Coast of India to West Africa ports for all cargo dry, reefer, OOG and breakbulk.

Effective from 1 May 2020 (B/L date):

From China, South Korea and Taiwan to West Africa ports

Quantum: US$500/20′ | US$1,000/40′

From South East Asia and East Coast of India to West Africa ports

Quantum: US$500/20′ | US$500/40′
