CNC commences new Taiwan-Vietnam service

CMA CGM-owned intra-Asia short sea specialist CNC has launched a new service line directly connecting Taiwan with Vietnam.

The TVS service offers direct calls between the port of Kaohsiung and Ho Chi Minh City (Cat Lai). The company states that the service will provide a round trip from Kaohsiung to Ho Chi Minh City, requiring five days for the outbound journey (Kaohsiung -> Ho Chi Ming City) and an additional 20 days for the return trip.

The TVS service will have a weekly frequency and will be operated by three vessels.
