CNC starts new service linking Japan, China and Vietnam

The Intra-Asia short sea specialist of the CMA CGM Group, CNC has announced the launch of a new Japan China Vietnam (JCV) service that will connect the three countries in Asia.

The new service will take effect on 31 March, with the first container ship inaugurating the voyage departing the port of Tokyo to follow the port rotation below:

Tokyo (Japan) – Yokohama (Japan) – Shanghai (China) – Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) – Da Nang (Vietnam) – Shekou (China) – Xiamen (China) – Tokyo (Japan)

“The weekly JCV service will add a direct connection from Japan to Da Nang in Vietnam and is expected to offer a fast transit time from South China to Japan,” said CNC, which added that “JCV also doubles up as an alternative sea-freight option for customers with cargoes from Vietnam to South China, and from Central China to Vietnam.”
