Condor service to call London Gateway

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company announced that its Condor Service, operating on its Asia – North Europe network, will call London Gateway instead of the port of Felixstowe, effective 27 November 2018.

The Condor service will continue to offer market-leading landside connections as well as direct sailings and fast transit times to Salalah (18 days) and Jebel Ali (20 days).

The first vessel will be Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Voyage 847E which will call directly at London Gateway maintaining the same transit times.

Since the middle of the year, MSC has used its extensive U.K. port network, as well as overland transportation services, to mitigate disruptions stemming from the implementation of a new terminal operating system at the Port of Felixstowe.
