An international container train from the Belarusian city of Orsha reached the Chinese city of Nanchang, Jiangxi Province on 19 March, representatives of the Consulate General of Belarus in Shanghai told BelTA.
After travelling for over 11,000km across Belarus, Russia, Mongolia, and China along the Silk Road Economic Belt the train delivered 41 containers full of Belarusian peat fertilizers and sawn timber to Nanchang. Taking into account the rather poor soils in Jiangxi Province the fertilizers will come in handy. The train’s operators were the Belarusian logistics company OOO Bremino Group and the Chinese logistics company COSCO Shipping.
