Container volume in CTSP grew by 12%

In 2018, exports totaled 373,600 TEUs, +5% versus the result of 2017. Imports grew by 21% to 348,500 TEUs.

In May, the terminal handed 73,000 TEUs, which is a record high monthly result of CTSP.

In 2018, the number of calls totaled 540 with average shipload of 1,337 TEUs (up 27% versus 1,087 TEUs in 2017). Container shipments by railway transport accounted for 26% of the terminal’s total cargo throughput.

According to Mortsentr-TEK JSC, CTSP retains its leadership among container terminals of Russia. The terminal’s market share in Saint-Petersburg and Ust-Luga in 2018 made 33%, in the Baltic Basin – 29%, in Russia – 14%.
