Containers fall into Mundra waters after feeder capsizes

According to the Indian broker, Prevailing Shipping & Logistics India, at least 20 containers have fallen into the water from the 1999-built, Pana-flagged boxship Sea Express, which lost stability during unloading operations at Mundra Port in India.

Prevailing Shipping & Logistics India said in a post on Twitter that “Understand the incident caused due to error in the calculation of blasting parameters as the vessel is multi-purpose and ships crane bullied in port side.”

The local authorities are still investigating what has caused the lifting of the feeder ship and they have not made any relevant announcement yet.
