COSCO’s declarations regarding to NPA suspensions

We have been following recently media reports, the Nigerian port authority (NPA) said in a press release, all ports in Nigeria will suspend the provision of port services to four liners for 10 days effective from July 14, with our company included. We herewith declare that COSCO SHIPPING Lines and its Nigerian office operating strictly comply with local laws and regulations, we keep in close communication with local authorities, all vessel operation as scheduled, without any negatively impact in the past and the future. Further contacted with local authorities and confirmed that all our vessels calling Nigerian ports and operating as scheduled.

Regarding to our previous official notification, COSOCO SHIPPING Lines has informed that low terminal operation efficiency due to the strike of truck drivers. We are paying high attention to the progress of the strike and will issue notification for any necessary update.
