COSCO launches two new dedicated trains

COSCO SHIPPING has announced the launch of two new dedicated trains, “Nanchang-Qinzhou-Vietnam” and “Guiyang-Qinzhou”.

In this way, the Chinese company implements the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) and adheres to the idea of ​​customer-centric service to align with the RCEP and facilitate the development of the new western land-to-sea trade corridor.

COSCO said it aims to create seamless industrial chains and supply chains, to help small and medium-sized enterprises reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance market competitiveness.

The “Nanchang-Qinzhou-Vietnam” train, launched jointly by COSCO SHIPPING and JMC and fully loaded with auto parts, departed from Nanchang International Land Port on 13 June and arrived at Qinzhou Port three days later. From Qinzhou, the cargo would be transported to Haiphong Port in Vietnam within two days by sea.

This is the first dedicated train launched by COSCO SHIPPING in Jiangxi Province for the new western land-sea trade corridor.

Recently, a dedicated train loaded with 60 TEU of bauxite (48 TEU for domestic trade and 12 TEU for foreign trade) departed from Guiyang Dulaying Station for Qinzhou.

This marked the beginning of the dedicated train service for domestic and foreign trade by COSCO SHIPPING in Guiyang.
