COSCO unveils new reefer product Nordic Fish Express

COSCO SHIPPING presented its latest product, Nordic Fish Express, in Rotterdam. This new service is designed to enhance flexibility and provide personalized solutions for reefer customers targeting Asian markets with premium seafood exports from key Nordic fishing hubs, including Sortland, Ålesund, Måløy, Bergen, and Haugesund in Norway, as well as Grangemouth in the United Kingdom, and Velsen and Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

“With our new Nordic Fish Express product, customers can load the containers and start moving them with COSCO SHIPPING, and then trade their cargo during the voyage by means of combining, switching and splitting Bills of Ladings, supported by real phone contact with our local staff – which is a real benefit for our customers especially while taking the long sea routes these days, saving them costs and time”, commented Hua Tian, Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Europe) GmbH.

The new product features cutting-edge reefer equipment, seamless door-to-door connections, and advanced digital tools like the “My Reefer” platform—all offered without additional costs. COSCO added the service guarantees real-time monitoring of temperature, humidity, and power supply, delivering fresh, high-quality seafood products from Europe to consumers worldwide.
