CrimsonLogic and Newage transform freight management in North America

PSA International-subsidiary CrimsonLogic, a provider of digital trade, digital ports, and technology solutions has announced a strategic partnership with Newage Software & Solutions, a logistics technology firm.

This collaboration integrates CrimsonLogic’s Advance Commercial Information eManifest House Bill (ACI eHBL) solution directly into NewageNXT, a freight management ERP platform. The integration, which became operational last month, is designed to simplify customs compliance for freight forwarders across North America, starting with Canada.

“This partnership represents a significant milestone in our mission to empower freight forwarders with innovative tools that streamline operations. By integrating CrimsonLogic’s ACI eHBL into NewageNXT, we are providing a comprehensive solution that simplifies customs compliance and drives operational efficiency across North America,” stated Jonathan Phillips, CEO of Newage.

With the North American logistics market poised for significant growth, this partnership positions CrimsonLogic and Newage as key players in driving supply chain digital transformation. Through this integration, Newage customers gain access to streamlined customs declaration processes, eliminating the need for redundant data entry between freight operations and customs compliance. By seamlessly transmitting eHBL data to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the solution saves time, minimizes errors, and reduces compliance-related costs.

“We are thrilled to partner with Newage to deliver an integrated solution for customs compliance. The integration of CrimsonLogic’s ACI eHBL will bring unprecedented convenience to their customers, saving time and costs while enhancing revenue potential. We look forward to expanding this partnership to serve a broader global audience,” commented Siddharth Priyesh, CrimsonLogic’s Vice President & Head of the Americas, EuropeMiddle EastAfrica & South Asia.

Key benefits of the integration include enhanced efficiency, improved accuracy, and greater visibility. The automated system eliminates double data entry, reducing manpower needs and expediting processes while minimizing human error, leading to more accurate submissions and fewer penalties or delays. Additionally, real-time updates on shipment and customs clearance statuses empower better decision-making and resource management. Customers will also benefit from competitive pricing and flexible contract terms compared to other eManifest partners.
