Demanding intra-Asia market sees OOCL boost Subcontinent services

OOCL will enhance its Indian Subcontinent product, namely the China India Express 3 (CIX3), aiming to provide more competitive and comprehensive services in its Intra-Asia network.

The CIX3 will now include port calls to Xingang and Busan to enhance the network coverage in China and India by directly connecting significant ports in China, India, and South-East Asia.

The first sailing of the revised CIX3 will be to Xingang with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) on 20 October.

CIX3 new port rotation: Xingang – Busan – Shanghai – Xiamen – Hong Kong – Shekou – Singapore – Colombo – Nhava Sheva – Pipavav – Port Kelang – Singapore – Hong Kong – Xingang

OOCL believes that together with existing CIX1 and CPX3 Asia products, the new CIX3 will strengthen its comprehensive service network between China, India, Pakistan, and South-East Asia to provide competitive supply chain options and flexibility to customers.

CIX1 rotation: Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Nansha – Singapore – Port Kelang – Karachi – Nhava Sheva – Colombo – Laem Chabang – Shanghai

CPX3 rotation: Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Singapore – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Port Qasim – Karachi SAPT – Singapore – Qingdao
