DP World’s subsidiaries launch cloud platform for supply chain management

DP World’s subsidiaries – Community Network Services (CNS), a provider of digital trade solutions, and SeaRates, a developer of cutting-edge digital freight management services – have announced the launch of CNS Enterprise, an innovative cloud-based service suite designed to streamline logistics workflows within a unified ecosystem.

CNS Enterprise offers users seamless management of customs and freight operations, powered by an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system developed by SeaRates.

“We’re delighted to partner with SeaRates ERP to launch CNS Enterprise, designed to be a single home for our customers to make their cargo journeys more seamless and accessible. Sitting alongside our customs declarations and port community systems, CNS Enterprise will give our customers a genuine competitive advantage in an uncertain market, ensuring their supply chain journey is smoother and easier to manage,” stated Matthew Bradley, Managing Director of CNS.

According to the statement, this all-in-one solution is designed specifically for the logistics and freight forwarding sector, addressing industry-specific challenges such as cost management through the integration of key functions like customs handling, freight forwarding, and financial management.

“At a time when the pressure to manage costs, maintain reliability and improve speed has never been greater for businesses, CNS Enterprise will give all vendors, whether large or small, the tools to efficiently manage cargo transportation from source to destination. Not only are we giving them the ability to take control of their own end-to-end supply chain network, but we also look forward to working closely with CNS to drive forward our joint competitiveness in the cloud solutions market with a quality product,” said Ayaz Maqbool, Group Senior Vice President of Digital Product Sales at DP World.

Launching on 22 October, CNS Enterprise will provide logistics businesses with the ability to manage their entire supply chain within a single platform. It includes a wide range of tools that cover customs declarations, cross-border movements, CRM, and account management.

In addition, financial processes like billing, invoicing, and quotation generation are integrated while shipping operations benefit from document management, tracking, and direct booking for land, sea, and air freight. Users also gain real-time visibility into sailing schedules and freight milestones, according to the announcement.

This comprehensive suite will enable CNS to expand its footprint within the United Kingdom’s supply chain and solidify its position in the cloud solutions market, helping businesses across the logistics and ports sectors to enhance efficiency, speed, and profitability.
