Emirates Shipping Line starts new container service

The Saudi Ports Authority, known as Mawani, has announced the launch of a new shipping service called GRC, which will be operated by Emirates Shipping Line.

This new service is designed to meet market demands and accommodate the growing trade in the region, further establishing Saudi Arabia as a global logistics hub connecting three continents.

This aligns with the goals outlined in the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS) of Saudi Arabia.

The GRC service links Jeddah Islamic Port with the ports of Jebel Ali in the UAE, Aqaba in Jordan, and Sokhna in Egypt, boasting a capacity of 2,550 TEUs.
