Eveon Containers, a Dutch startup which is the first and fully digital commercial container shopping platform, has announced its expansion to the United States market.
After a launch in Germany and Austria, Eveon Containers is now expanding its business to the American container market with a new location in Newark, New Jersey.
With this move, Eveon is continuing its ambitious growth strategy with further locations in the US as well as in other European countries are planned.
“In Germany, we had a sensational start after the launch in Hamburg last year and were able to offer our containers at another five locations shortly after. Since April this year, our products have also been available in Austria,” said CEO and founder of Eveon Containers, Aad Storm, who launched the Dutch startup in 2020.
“In the coming months, further locations will be added in the USA and Europe. Within the next two years, Eveon aims to be available globally,” he added.
The company supplies private and business customers within a 250 kilometres radius of its European locations and within 330 kilometres of its new US location with new and used shipping and storage containers in the standard sizes customary in the industry.
Eveon said its business model aims to actively reduce the CO2 emissions of the container industry.
“Empty containers are sold and used in the region where they are unloaded, thereby avoiding CO2-intensive shipments of empty containers to ports worldwide,” Eveon explains. “In addition, Eveon compensates for the CO2 emissions generated when delivering containers to customers by supporting environmental projects.
