Ultracarrier “Ever Goods” for the first time in the Hamburg Port

The “Ever Goods” of the Taiwanese shipping company Evergreen Marine, which was only commissioned in June, visited the port of Hamburg from 17 to 19 July. The handling took place at the HHLA container terminal Tollerort.
The large container ship is 59 meters wide and has a length of 400 meters, a draft of 16 meters and a loading capacity of 20,388 TEU. It’s up to 22.8 knots fast. The Ever Goods is the second of a total of eleven units of the Evergreen 20,000 TEU class. It was built on the Japanese Marugame shipyard of the Imabari Shipbuilding Group and is identical to the new building “Ever Golden”, which started in mid-May on its maiden voyage the Port of Hamburg. The “Ever Goods” operates on scheduled services North Europe Service 7 in the Far East and in Europe.
