Fluent Cargo and DP World partner to transform global supply chain

Fluent Cargo has teamed up with DP World CARGOES to offer seamless shipment tracking for customers, addressing the ongoing challenges of global shipment disruptions and delays.

Often referred to as the “Google Maps for Freight,” Fluent Cargo will provide its user-friendly central tracking platform to DP World CARGOES’ carrier network.

This collaboration will allow Fluent Cargo’s centralized tracking portal to serve over 70 ocean carriers, more than 80 air carriers, and over 1,100 parcel trucks or couriers within the DP World CARGOES network.

DP World’s CARGOES digital service already supports shippers with port tracking solutions worldwide, helping to address inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the supply chain.

Furthermore, building on its reputation for data accuracy and extensive cargo network connectivity, Fluent Cargo will offer real-time tracking for air and ocean shipments without requiring long-term contracts.

“A lack of unified origin-to-destination tracking for freight is a common problem for
organisations, who work without a global standard in terms of sharing and
collaborating data. We are thrilled to be partnering with an industry-leading
organisation to reach as many customers as possible to more conveniently and
efficiently access up-to-date information on the location and progress of their cargo
easily without cumbersome lock-in contracts. In the ever-changing cargo logistics
ecosystem, we want to provide simplicity and flexibility,” commented Archival Garcia, Fluent Cargo CEO.

The tracking portal eliminates fragmented data and manual processes, which are often error-prone and costly.

By centralizing data, regardless of the carrier, service provider, mode, or region, the platform provides real-time tracking using carrier integrations, milestones, and shipment progressions, helping to prevent issues and reduce costs.

“At DP World, we combine unmatched expertise with our world-class global infrastructure to benefit our clients. With 10% of world trade moving through our network, we’re committed to offering best-in-class integrated global capabilities and bespoke solutions to our customers’ needs. We’re excited to partner with Fluent Cargo to strengthen their tracking capability, providing customers with the most up-to-date and relevant information on shipments via ocean or air,” stated Pradeep Desai, Group Chief Technology Officer at DP World.
