Australia’s Fremantle Ports announced the appointment of Jodie Ransom as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from 1 July 2024.
According to the statement, Jodie Ransom brings over 30 years of experience in the ports and marine industries. In addition, she previously served as general manager of operations at Fremantle Ports and has been acting CEO following the passing of former CEO Michael Parker. Her career includes senior roles at Svitzer, CBH, and Alcoa.
Furthermore, a rigorous recruitment process considered candidates from across Australia and internationally, highlighting Ransom’s exceptional expertise in port operations, marine logistics, shipping, and commodity exports.
Jodie Ransom has demonstrated strong leadership during her tenure as acting CEO.
Fremantle Ports stated it looks forward to her continued leadership in driving the organization’s operational excellence, strategic initiatives, and commitment to customer engagement and infrastructure enhancement.
